Artwork Preparation Guidelines Proof You will receive an electronic proof from us for your approval with your artwork placed in a layout. This proof should be used to check for typos, artwork placement, and logo proportions. It should also be used to see if we are missing any gradients, shadows, or knockouts. You can use this proof to check approximate colors. However, all screen display colors differently, so the colors may appear a bit off. Once you approve this proof, we will digitize your art and there is no turning back without incurring a second digitizing fee, so check your proof thoroughly. Image Size You will need to size your file to the exact size you require your artwork to print on your packaging. We can only print on the top surface of the cover of the box. Please list in the comments exactly how your artwork should appear on the box. Be as descriptive as possible. Use this terminology as a guide:
![]() File Format Please send the highest resolution artwork as possible. We have the best results with high resolution Adobe files like *.EPS, *.AI, *.PSD, or *.PDF files. Don’t forget to “outline” all fonts and flatten layers. If you send us a TIFF (.tif or .tiff) file, please save it with LZW compression enabled. LZW is a lossless compression format that reduces file size without sacrificing quality. If you send us a JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg) file, please save it with MAXIMUM quality. JPEG uses "lossy" compression, so be sure to select MAXIMUM quality when saving in this format. Resolution Our equipment prints at 1440 dpi. |
